A devotee to the field of painting and sculpture, he has been honoured as a visiting professor and the Art College of Xiamen University, Art College of Jimei University, The Arts and Design College of Fuzhou University and Modern Art College of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts.

Biography / CV of Xinmin Fu

Fu Xinmin, also called Xinmeng, meaning "New Bud", was born in June 1949 in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. Fu presently holds the position of P.R.C. in xiamen, Fujian, China.

Acquisitions / Collections of work by Xinmin Fu

Fu first started exhibiting in 2001. since then, his sculptures have been included in the 10th Fine Arts Exhibition of China, 1st International Architecture Biennial of China, 2nd International Art Biennial of Beijing and the Olympic Landscape Sculpture International Exhibition. His sculptures have also been exhibited in many other international and domestic exhibitions. He was also invited to exhibit his modern ink and wash paintings in Barcelona, Spain, Zoetermeer, Netherlands and Koshigaya, and Japan.

Public Works of Xinmin Fu

His works are in the collection of the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC), Modern Art Gallery of Chengdu, Shanghai Municipal Sculpture Centre of China and the Art Centre of Ziamen.

Many of his books on modern sculpture and ink and wash painting can be found in numerous book stores throughout China.
